Department of Mechanical Engineering has been with the development of the University of Ulsan since the foundation of the University of Ulsan for half a century, with the full support of Korea's leading companies including Hyundai Heavy Industries.?So far, about 8,000 graduates have been produced, and graduates are playing a pivotal role in the development of Korea's mechanical engineering-related industries at industrial sites, research institutes, universities and government institutions around the world as well as in Korea.?Department of Mechanical Engineering has attracted large-scale national projects such as BK21, NURI, Green Car Talent Cultivation Center, and LINC for the past 10 years, and recently, by attracting projects such as local government-university cooperation-based regional innovation projects hosted by the Ministry of Education for cultivating human resources for new industries like 'Future Automobile' and 'low-carbon green energy'.?In addition, it has grown into an industry-university-linked mechanical engineering department by carrying out support projects from world-class companies such as Hyundai Heavy Industries' first-class business and Hyundai Motor Group's contract department.
Based on the basic philosophy of 'Maker', Department of Mechanical Engineering introduced a convergence curriculum related to AI and advanced science and technology to create 'Convergence Talent with a Strong Basics' suitable for new industries such as future automobiles, intelligent robots, and smart manufacturing. We are educating together with the best faculty and best administrative services to nurture the talents who communicate in a healthy way with the community.?We look forward to working with you in the future.
